Who it is for
For crews, actors, extras and technicians working at the Cinecittà studios, students on film courses and workshops, people attending castings and events, and anyone who wants to visit Cinecittà si Mostra and the MIAC at their own pace, without crossing all of Rome.
Getting to the studios
From Subaugusta station, 3 minutes from the apartment, take Metro A towards Anagnina: the next stop is Cinecittà, next to the studio entrance at Via Tuscolana 1055. On foot along Via Tuscolana it takes about 15 minutes. For early call times, it helps to know that the first metro runs at around 5:30 am.
Visiting Cinecittà si Mostra and the MIAC
The visitor route includes the outdoor sets, such as the ancient Rome built for the series Rome, exhibitions on the history of the studios and on Fellini, and the Italian Museum of Audiovisual and Cinema. It is usually open every day except Tuesday: check opening hours and guided tours on the official website before you go.
Why an apartment instead of a hotel
A fully equipped kitchen so you don’t have to eat out after every long day on set, Wi‑Fi for working on scripts and edits, air conditioning, a private terrace to switch off in the evening and room for 4 people, so colleagues or family can share the cost. And you deal directly with the owner, on WhatsApp too.
Stays of several weeks
Productions often last weeks or months: send us your dates and we will check availability for a longer stay together, including bookings made by a production company.
The neighbourhood
Around the apartment you have supermarkets, pharmacies, cafés and the Cinecittà Due shopping centre, and Metro A runs with no changes to Termini and the centre. Read the neighbourhood guide.
